TVXQ, which is an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (Chinese language: 东方神起) [1], is a South Korean pop group formed in 2003 under the management of SM Entertainment. Writing their names are also modified to be TVXQ!. In South Korea, they are known as Dong Bang Shin Ki [2] (Korean: 동방신기), or often abbreviated to DBSK, and in Japan, they are known as Tohoshinki (Japanese: 东方神起). The meaning of their names in three languages it means "the Gods of Publication of the East". [3] [4]

The group made its debut in 2003 with five members consisting of the leader U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu. On July 2009, three members of TVXQ's (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu) demanding their Korean management, SM Entertainment, to court. This leads to all public activity and the appearance of TVXQ after 2009 stopped. After a hiatus for 2 years and 3 months, TVXQ re-emerged into the music industry as a duo consisting of Yunho and Changmin.

TVXQ is one of Asia's most successful artists ever.
